
Hotel Virent
Originally the home of LaFayette Lanier, it had a third
floor added and became the Hotel Virent to cater to the railroad
visitors to West Point. It was destroyed in 1932.

General Tyler Hotel
Formerly known as the Charles Hotel, in 1938 it was
expanded and renamed the General Tyler Hotel in memory of
Confederate General Robert Tyler, who was killed during the
Battle of West Point in 1865.

West Point Motel
Built in the 1950's, this hotel flourished with
increased tourist traffic on Hwy. 29, just north of West Point.
