Court Square fountain
This fountain was built in 1943 after the old
courthouse burned in 1936. A statue of LaFayette was added
in 1976 during the Bi-Centennial. This postcard is a rare
night time view showing the colored lights in the fountain.

At this home in 1865, the all female LaGrange Civil War
militia, (named the Nancy Harts), formed and marched out
to meet the Yankee troops that were advancing after capturing
West Point.
