Colonial Hotel on Ridley Ave.
Built in 1922, it was operated for many years by the Young sisters and was the last hotel in downtown LaGrange to operate in the 20th century.   Franklin Roosevelt spoke here in 1929.




Elmrose Hotel on Main St.
It was named after LaGrange's nickname, the city of Elms and Roses.  It was destroyed by a huge fire in 1929.  It was built in 1889, it was originally known as the Andrews Hotel until purchased by new owners in 1906 and renamed Elmrose Hotel.

LaGrange Hotel at the corner of S. Court Square and Main Street
Built in the 1840's, it was completely renovated in 1890 with marble floors, staircases and counters.  It was later renamed the Park Hotel.  In the 1890 renovation, it added electric lights and a new invention, the electric elevator.  It also featured "speaking tubes from the office to the kitchen and housekeepers quarters".  In the foreground is the horse-drawn LaGrange Trolley.




New Park Hotel on South Court Square at Main St.
This hotel was built in the 1840's and was one of the few buildings that the Yankees did not burn down in 1865.  The hotel burned in 1951.

New LaGrange Hotel on Church St. at W. Haralson St.
In between being the LaGrange Sanitarium and before it became Dunson Hospital, this briefly was used as a hotel.




Benjamin Franklin Inn
This Inn was built and operated by Callaway Mills for the unmarried male employees of the Hillside cotton mill.   It was located in the S.W. area of LaGrange.




Martha Washington Inn
This Inn was built and operated by Callaway Mills for the unmarried female employees of the Hillside cotton mill.    It was located on Dallas St.  It later became the general offices of Callaway Mills and later became Milliken's Customer Information Center.  Later it was used by Troup County Government.




Rock Court Motel on Hwy. 29 South, (West Point Rd.)




Town & Country Motel, New Franklin Rd, LaGrange, GA
This motel was built in 1956, 4 miles north of downtown LaGrange.
