Hillside Cotton Mill Built in 1915 with a group of local
investors including Mr. Callaway, Truitt, Lovejoy, Cleaveland,
Dallas, Hudson, Milam and others. Located at the corner of
Lincoln and Brownwood St.

Calumet Mill of Callaway Mills Originally built by northern investors as a cotton seed
oil mill, later it was named LaGrange Cotton Mills before being
acquired by Callaway Mills. This mill was razed in 1986
and Milliken donated the property to the Catholic Church which
used it to build St. Peters Catholic Church.
Elm City Cotton Mill Incorporated in 1905, this mill is located just
south of Callaway Stadium and has been in continuous operation
for over 100 years. The Italianate tower is a distinct
architectural feature.

Oakleaf Cotton Mill Later it was renamed Unity Mill, operated by Callaway Mills.
Unity Cotton Mill This plant was the parent company of Callaway Mills,
but was later renamed Kex Plant.

Unity Spinning Mills Built in 1906 as a division of Unity Cotton Mills, it
later became known as Unity Mills.
Dixie Cotton Mills Opened in 1895, it was LaGrange's oldest mill and was
Fuller Callaway's first manufacturing venture. It was
purchased by West Point Manufacturing Company in 1933.

Roper's Grocery on Main St. This building was destroyed by fire in 1929.
LaGrange Banking and Trust Company on South Court Square This building was built in 1904 and was destroyed by
fire in a spectacular blaze in 1994 that could be seen miles
away.

at One East Court Square, a location later used for many years
by the Cleaveland-Dodd Company.
LaGrange National Bank on Main St. Built in 1917, it later became the Citizens & Southern
Bank and today houses the Troup County Archives and Museum on
Main.
The Highland Country Club This structure operated as LaGrange's country club
until it was torn down and replaced with a new structure in
1967.

Randal's Restaurant on New Franklin Rd. This location now has a Taco Bell at the corner of New
Franklin Rd. and Commerce Dr. This postcard has a unique
map showing the mileage from LaGrange to other nearby cities.
Red Star Shoe Store on West Court Square. This shoe store operated for many years right across
the street from the Baptist Church.
In Clover Restaurant Located in the second block of Broad St., the building
now houses a real estate firm.
