Columbus Country Club
This card was postmarked 1912, this building was built circa 1909 and was the first of three club buildings built on this site.  It was destroyed by fire in 1919.

Springer Opera House
This building, built in 1871, still is in use today for live performances and is the State Opera House of the State of Georgia.

Y.M.C.A. (Young Men's Christian Association)
This building was dedicated in 1903 and funds for its' construction were donated by George Foster Peabody, the Columbus born philanthropist.  At the time of its' construction, it was said to be the only marble exterior YMCA in the world.
