In the wrought iron on top of the top span are the words, "$5.00 fine for going faster than a walk, Pedestrians and vehicles".   Card was postmarked 1915.

Caption reads that this plant provided 40,000 H.P. and provided electricity as far away as West Point, LaGrange and Newnan.




Columbus Power Plant on the Chattahoochee River
This was one of the earliest dams and power plants on the Chattahoochee and powered the Bibb Mill, a 19th century manufacturing plant.
